Nurtured Healing and Wellness respectfully acknowledges the Hoocąk (Ho-Chunk), Kaskaskia, Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Myaamia, and Peoria Peoples as the Traditional custodians of the land who have stewarded it throughout the generations. I pay my respects to ancestors, elders, and storytellers - past, present, and emerging. As a part of the greater world community, I'd like to extend this acknowledgment to Indigenous Peoples around the world and especially acknowledge the value of their healing and wellness practices and how much we still have to learn from them.
